April 1, 2007 (Press Release) -- Good News For Stutterers
StutterFree
We have heard from the talk around, and seen it on the Web!
There is a web site that is offering one of those anti-stutter devices
at a price that is actually within the range for us (non-rich) folks. If
you're not a stutterer you may not know, but if you have the "affliction
of stutter" you know, for the past few years the anti-stutter devices
that are offered to us, are between 3000 and 5000 dollars. The reason
for these prices is anyone's guess, and we only need one to be right!
Well, there is a company that doesn't have anyone guessing. We know,
they have their customers in mind, instead of their pocketbooks. They
sell a device of the same or better quality for around one tenth of the price.
Yes, you read it right, instead of 5000, it's 500.
"Let's hear it for the Good Old Days", when money wasn't everything,
and the customer was treated fairly.
The company can be found on the web at www. StutterFree-tool.com.

Do Traditional Speech Therapists Provide Any Real Benefit To People Who Stutter?
I truly believe that the only people who can answer the question, from the title of this article, are people who actually
have or have overcome a stutter themselves. For reasons that I am not aware of, I developed a stutter when I was just four
years of age. Despite attending speech therapy at regular intervals, the problem continued for the next eighteen years. I
decided to follow an alternative route to cure my speech impediment, a route that was to prove successful when I was aged
twenty-two. I have no doubt that the speech therapists do an admiral job up and down our country, however do they offer any
real help for people who stutter?

How 'StutterFree' Works--cont.
Another
way of understanding how 'StutterFree' works is by the knowledge of
(Vocal Tone). Vocal Tone is produced by the vocal cords as a buzzing
sound inside inside the body. The Buzz is detected by a sensor inside
the device and is mixed with 'real time' voice activity. When you hear
the Vocal Tone Buzz, combined with your words, the effect allows the
vocal muscles to atomatically relax. This, combined with the paralleled
Vocal Tone to each word, "teaches" the person to reduce or eliminate
stutter in speech. 'StutterFree allows your body to 'get back' the normal functions of fluency, while it helps replace
bad stuttering habits
in speech with good, fluent, relaxed, 'stutter-free' speech. (author Chris
